My name is Becca
I’m a native Portlandian with 10+ years of experience providing service to older adults through caregiving, coordination & support. If I’m at home, my two cats are probably within arms reach.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University with a focus on Health Studies, and am a Certified Health Education Specialist. I'm a big believer in continuing education and enjoy expanding my personal credentials with ongoing learning opportunities.
I worked for several years in the long-term care industry, providing person-centered care to seniors with disabilities. This included several years of work as a direct care provider before becoming a Care Coordinator, writing specialized care plans and providing resources to folks and their caregivers. My last role before diving into Notary work was as a Community Relations Director at a Residential Care community (Assisted Living and Memory Care), walking folks through the move-in process - including handling a lot of the very same documents I notarize now.
I recognized a need to extend services and outreach throughout the local community to better prepare folks for the transition to long-term care. This includes establishing Living Trusts, Power of Attorney, Advance Healthcare Directives, and more, so folks can have peace of mind.
Preparation means faster, smoother onboarding to care services in the event of an accident or health change - which could happen to anyone at any time.
